Graduated on Animal Production Sciences from Bologna University in 1981.

From 1982 to 1986 responsible for laboratory and quality control at Martini S.p.A., (an italian private feed manufacturing company integrated in swine, poultry and rabbit productions).

From 1987 to present date, executive nutritionist and manager formulation office at Martini S.p.A.
Areas of involvement include swine and ruminant nutrition, feed production and feed mill quality assurance.

Board member of Italian Swine Pathology and Husbandry Association from 2004 to 2007 and member of Assalzoo technical committee (Association of Italian Feed Compounder) from 2007 to date.

From 2001, member of journalists professional rank and over 100 popular articles published on the Italian magazines (subjects: pig nutrition and feed production).
