Leonardo Cuevas

Leonardo Cuevas is a veterinarian since 1978. He graduated from the University of Chile. There are other veterinarians in his family that inspired his decision of working with animals.

Since 1979 he is a consultant for different-sized pig companies, especially in Chile. He has worked as a professor at the Catholic University of Valparaíso for 14 years. He participated in several projects of the Chilean Pig Producers' Association, and now he is involved with the Colombian Pig Producers' Association regarding quality assurance in the pork production chain.

He has consultancy firms in several Latin American countries and he participated in the first PRRS eradication programme in Chile.
