Dr Elizabeth Santin is an associate professor of avian pathology and a Doctor  of veterinary medicine from the University of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. She is also a product of the University of California, UNESP Brazil with part of doctorate study at University of Arkansas. Dr Elizabeth holds a post doc degree in animal immunity and nutrition and over two decades experience in animal gut health management, nutrition and immunity. Over the years, her studies has been on how nutrition especially poor quality ingredients interfere with animal gut health with field studies in Brazil and Latin America. In 2019-2022 she was the Vice-President, research and product development at Jefo Nutrition in Quebec, Canada.  She is currently the independent advisor of research, development and sustainability and co-founder of ISI institute.
