Graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zaragoza, Spain, specializing in animal health and medicine. Once he finished his higher education studies, he completed a specialization course in swine production. He began his professional career as an unofficial veterinarian in the field of control of infectious diseases linked to production animals.

For 20 years he has been working in the swine integrator of a multinational company, Inga Food, SA, where he leads the vet services team that performs all tasks related in production, nutrition, diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, and technical-economic management of farms. He participates in the planning and development of R&D studies in swine production. He has published several articles and studies on swine.

He has also participated in different lectures and round tables. He is a member of the association of swine veterinarians AVPA.

Damit schließen wir unsere aus drei Artikeln bestehende Serie ab, in denen Alberto Garcia und Chretien Gielen erläutern, welche Maßnahmen zur Reduzierung von Diarrhö bei Absetzferkeln ohne den Einsatz von Zinkoxid in Betracht kommen. Zum Schluss sollten wir unbedingt noch auf wichtige Aspekte wie die Umwelt, das Wasser und die Verwendung von Biologika eingehen.
