Thairê Pereira Maróstica is a 8th semester undergraduate student of Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). In the last two years she has been working with swine researches. In 2017 she worked as a scientific research student under the guidance of Dr. Roberto Guedes, with a focus on patology of enteric swine diseases. In the last year she has been working at Iowa State University under guidance of Dr. Nubia Macedo and Dr. Maria Clavijo with respiratory diseases of swine, focusing on Haemophilus parasuis and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, performing animal experiments and laboratory activities.
